First time I've been to the Museum of the Home since it re-opened after a major update. Previously the Geffrye Museum (I know, they can't spell
) it's always been a lovely place and now it's even better.
Saw this pre-war TV on display. Unusual to have provenance like this. It was mainly the smaller table sets such as the HMV904 that got sold off as radios during WW2 but here's evidence that a big floorstanding set did too. Some sets went far from London, to places which would get TV for many years after the war.
