Today was a perfect day for a walk in the North York Moors, and I visited my favorite pub for lunch, the Birch Hall Inn.
On the way back I saw a car with KT66 as the fist part of its registration number. Couldn't get a picture in time, doh.

I went outside too.
The other half had been spotted buying apples from the supermarket.
A back pack full all the way up with organic rail track bed grown apples were home from the local disused railway in short order.

Nice find but no voltages shown which is a pain. Interesting too, no cathode caps on the KT66's. Have you done any testing on these to see what the frequency response/THD is?

Its a pretty standard PA amp Andy. Voltages wont be far off "standard " for an amp of this type.
Its also a PA amp so no need for doof doof capacitors in the cathodes, the frequency respsonse will be "about " 100 or 150 hZ to maybe 5 or 6khZ.

I think its designed for efficiency and practicality than anything else.
Because it doesnt process huge frequencie ranges, it would/could sit on a shelf in a factory for 20 years without maintainance.

Imagine "tractor " rather than "sportster ".
