Your plugs are unlikely to cause any interference here Col, if they did then OFCOM would be knocking on your door.

Knock knock ...... who's there?
![]() TP-Link are one of the better manufacturers who seem to have done their utmost to minimise problems, although radiated noise from your mains wiring is another thing. Colin

They can minimise the effect of any built in power supply these things might have, the crunch is the data on the electrical supply wiring and it's radiation as you say.

The staff are friendly and I can usually find things, in fact they are better than most at not moving things 'round every few weeks. There are often boxes in the aisles when I go as soon as they open but not later in the day. This is nowhere near as big a problem as the aisles in Sainsbury's being blocked by huge trolleys that staff are filling for home delivery. I always have longer to wait there to be served and first thing I sometimes have to hunt somebody out as none of the tills are manned. As so often, it's down to local staff and management. - Joe

It always amazes me when folks can spend time rumaging around for junk at boot sales, events etc for stuff on pallets and in boxes in bad/cold weather then have a problem with shopping at Aldi.

I noticed that the pallets and boxes have an aisle and location number on them and asked our (very friendly) local Aldi manager about it. He reckons that there are 4 or 5 store layouts and if you go into any Aldi, most times you will find products in exactly the same place. I checked this when visiting an Aldi on the outskirts of the Hartlepools on Friday and, sure enough, the layout and locations were pretty much identical. Staff there were just as friendly as those on our local branch. Colin

Hi,
Good news; Bron and I have been watching YouTube videos and the videos were perfect; absolutely no buffering or picture breaking up. The two new plug links were extremely simple to install; just plug in to a mains socket connect the single cable to each and switch on; even I managed this without problem. Fully sorted at last so all I now need to do is to find out what we can watch via the web; there are so many options available I doubt I'll be watching much TV as I try to work through what's opened up to us? Our local Aldi staff are friendly enough Joe but just as I get used to them they seem to disappear so at our store staff turn around is ongoing with just a few regulars. Expectations these days are so high when it comes to visiting stores Lawrence; normally I'm sure we would all expect to see pallets and boxes because items don't appear on store shelves by magic in fact I think it must be a huge headache just keeping shelves stocked whilst ensuring sell by dates are adhered to? Some stores though are much better than others possibly because of night shift staffing levels? I don't visit supermarkets in order to browse simply taking along a list; collect the items and get out as quickly as possible. I've been visiting our local Morrison's since it first opened about twenty years ago and as I visit twice weekly at the same time I chat to regular customers whilst shopping and I know quite a few of the staff on the checkouts. Morrison's do move items around in fact they are a pain for doing this but it makes no difference to me as I adhere to my list. One thing I do dislike whilst visiting Morrison's are the revolving doors which really do annoy usually closing in my face just as I reach them both entering and leaving the store. I receive the Aldi emails notifying me of special deals each week which I like to look at but I know if I don't visit the store early on the day of these deals the next time I do visit the deals have been snapped up? I intended to wander into the garage but with a mixture of lashing rain/hail then brilliant sunshine I'll give it a miss today. April showers? Kind regards, Col.

Well sounds like some are just unlucky again: maybe its all the negative waves they radiate?
For me our Aldi is fine. Seems not to be much staff turnover and all friendly. The aisles are mainly good except at Christmas time and I guess that's to be expected. For me they are such a useful store to have around I simply couldn't knock them. All items are good and well made. I'm largely tailored from there ![]() My wife shops partly at Asda and Waitrose: something about certain items she prefers from each. I stay well out of it and don't go. Hopefully when she needs help with it she will have mastered the laptop and be able to order on line ![]() Gary
