EMI First Generation Intermittent brightness

For some time now my HMV901 has suffered from intermittent changes in brightness. I couldn't detect any changes in the cathode, grid or anode voltages at the CRT but in email exchanges with Jac Janssen he suggested I measure the heater current. Well sure enough that's what was, a poor connection at the CRT base.

A nice simple fix and a big relief. Many thanks to Jac.
