New history of the BBC published this week

I have ordered this new book by David Hendy. Should arrive in the next couple of days. The attached review is a bit lukewarm but it's going to be an essential book for any vintage enthusiast's shelf.

I ordered from Awesome Books. A good price and it's not enriching Amazon.

It will be interesting to hear how it fits in with Briggs, Burns and possibly even Pawley.

Not forgetting Jean Seaton's "Pinkoes and Traitors" which, in its own way, picks up where Briggs left off.
