Yes Jeffrey it does.
Not sure I can justify the cost for one TV though. I am thinking about it though.

The blue or orange bodied modulators available from some online sellers can be set output a system D signal.

The sound is a bit low but a couple of the IF amp valves are low. They are equivalent to EF95s. I've ordered 10 of the correct Russian ones from Ukraine for under a tenner. Since the picture below the set is now all set up and back in its cabinet. I've done a video but the banding is too objectionable to upload. I may try another camera to see if I get better results. It looks good now the scan coils are aligned correctly and linearity properly set up.

Excellent result. The set is built like a battleship. Potemkin?

Hi.
I have done a video. It's using my old Fuji camera but its low definition and no where does the the set justice. https://youtu.be/RBpX0z1B_xc

Hi.
I odrered 10 valves from a Ukrainian seller on ebay 10 days ago for the IF stages. The ETA was the 31st June. They arrived today. As usual with Russian and Ukrainian sellers there were two extra valves in the box. I just wish those sellers here were more open and generous. Each valve worked out at 80p. |
