4mm pincer test probes

To do more circuit testing I have bought a number of 4mm pincer/clamp probes. I have found that the majority of these give bad readings due to poor connections. The only ones I have found so far that have been value for money have been Hirshmann KLEPS 30 clamp probes.
Has anyone had similar issues and recommend what to buy (and avoid what NOT to buy!).

I know the type you are talking about and agree they are useless. They just fall off. Someone on this forum or either of the other two reported on the type of miniature clips that I associate with logic analysers. They showed a photo of them and seemed pleased with their performance. I've tried searching with the terms: gripper, probe and clip on the three forums but can't find the thread.

If I was asked to try to remember which forum I'd have thought it was actually this one!
