I have a couple of Ascom SE550 low band radios, which I have up and running on 70mhz/4m.
So a couple of things,
1) Is there a place to get the microphone connector (an odd connector) for the front, As I wanted to wire a different mic up.
(I am aware of the connectors on the 15 way at the rear).
2) I was reading a French site which shows a way of altering the tone of the mic via a trimmer on the underside of the rig (not the max Dev).
Has anyone done this and what results did you get?
