I have heard that this entire museum is for sale. Apparently the owner wants to sell as a whole, not as individual items. I wish them luck!

Very stylish and with some unusual exhibits.  Wish I had gone to visit but didnt know about it and what the travel would have been like.  Might have made a short holiday.

Just looked on Goggle.  Looks a nice area of Amsterdam which we did visit some years ago .  Wife would not let me try pot

To sell the contents of the museum in my opinion in one lot is unlikely.
I think the problem now is lack of interest, our generation is slowly passing away and younger generations are far less interested in what we are. Look at the prewar car values, they have stagnated for some time with noticeable drops on run of the mill stuff like Austin 7's and Morris 8's yes the rarities will still attract money.
The interest these days is what people are brought up with , which to be fair is in fact understandable. You might like Ford Escorts and Morris Marina's (God forbid) but that's where the interest lies. Now it's hard to sell a 40s radio and prewar TVs have dropped in value.
Once upon a time I'd have loved a prewar TV but now I'd not take one even if it was FOC, I'm not the only one that thinks this way but others still have a great interest in them which is very good.

That museum was much more about design than technology. Hence items like the "Snow White Coffin" record player. I'm not saying that this is a good or bad thing, just that it had a different focus to radio museums such as those at Dulwich and Watchet.

I still think it most unlikely that collection could be sold as a whole.

There are many sides to our hobby and "design" (the shape etc.) is one of them. As to selling the lot I think finding a van big enough would be the main problem.

Maybe the only way it may survive is if someone with another interest bought the lot including the building at a reasonable price with the intent to broaden scope with another field of exibits. Unlikely but perhaps less so than just keeping the original.

I should add that the Broadcast Engineering Museum was approached (rather indirectly) to see if we were interested. We aren't
