Do you happen to own or are you able to borrow something like this IC tester, they take a stab at identifying common ICs and may give you some clues.

Almost enough resolution far too much shake. Perhaps another try?
It does look a bit analogue though, with different sized pads.

Certainly some sort of analogue function.
I'll try again with better lighting, copy stand, macro tubes and remote control.

Not much better. 200mm fl, bright spot, all 3 extension tubes so lens was really close.
I'd need a microscope. We tried a friend's super macro phone and it was much worse.
The chip is about 2mm x 2mm.

Certainly analogue.
