The RF part of "modern" chip based MSF (other standards are available) use a 60kHz crystal as the main band pass filter.
I want a PNP valve!

Interestingly enough, on "another side" someone has just put up a couple of photos of an MSF receiver built by his dad.
"They" seem to think it's a Rewbichron receiver.
It isn't.
It has a number of TO-105 transistors in some sort of ?TRF? arrangement rather than a NBFM receiver ic.
Might someone else point this out?
