It's not so much what some people are saying. It's how they are saying it.

I'm quite happy to disagree with people who have differing views to mine. Indeed, I expect everyone to hold different views to my own. However, these differences of opinion must be discussed in a way that is respectful to other people. That has not been the case in this thread.

I have already admitted that in one post I allowed myself to fall slightly from my usually high levels in this area - albeit deliberately in an attempt to communicate my frustration with the state of the thread - but I'm still nowhere near the levels of one or two people in this thread. However, their recent responses to my patient explanations and attempts at reconciliation have strongly indicated that they believe me to be mostly or entirely at fault for various reasons, and they have no need to reflect upon their own behaviour. I hope I'm wrong.

Either way, we'll see how we all feel after the weekend.
