I fitted this sensor light at the bottom of my garden. Like this but only one LED. It's probably 3 or 4 years old. It's gone crazy. Switches on randomly in broad daylight. Sensitivity control seems to have no effect.
There are two PCBs. The main one you can see clearly in the photo. There's also a small circular one you can just see above the sensor. The sensitivity and timer controls are on the small PCB.
Anything worth trying before I chuck it and get a new one? There are 4 cheap electrolytics. None are bulging but I suppose I could replace them. Might even be a duff pot, seeing as it has no effect.
Can't quite see how to remove the sensor. It rotates in its hole, looks like it was clipped in, so can try prising it out. Applying force to the lug that's visible hasn't worked yet.
