It's mentioned in the GEC Valves and Television Tubes booklet from 1956.

Looks very similar to the 6505A used in the GEC BT2147 TV.

I did notice a lot of older sets have been advertised by someone in Keighley, all non-runners, but they made me think someone is having a clearout.

Yes I saw them as well, problem is the lockdown, is one allowed to travel for these thing, I doubt it at present?
