Getting slowly back into construction again and made a steel box to house the coil and HV caps in, basically to cover the underside of the copper clad board.
So with the valves in screening cans and the top board bolted into the can, I hope to save anything local picking up major interference from the oscillator. The metal work seems to be deadening the resonance of the coil a bit, so now the peak output is just under 4KV, this is still enough to supply the CRT I will be testing on my TV project.
