Many TRVs are bidirectional these days. I still prefer to have them on the flow. The Pegler Terrier that I used is bidrectional.

Oddly, the wax based Terrier valve that I used has hardly any Peglers branding in the catalogue or on the box. The more expensive liquid based Peglers TRV is explicitly Peglers, not Terrier: https://www.screwfix.com/p/pegler-b4452-...mm-x/1669v
I wonder if "Terrier" is a sort of lower cost secondary brand for Peglers.
