Bless you Trevor, I fettle away, the work it's reward, all your kind words are encouraging & it's nice to know my work is appreciated. I only started learning about electronics about 7 years ago after a 3 decade odd brake from when I used to muck about as a kid, over the last few years I've learnt a lot here from you all and with help from other kind folk on other forums. Your right this is a grand forum, trying to post a bit more to offer inspiration and encouragement to others who tinker.
As requested Nick, schematics attached, think that's everything though there may be the odd minor circuit not shown. The 300v regulated PSU was knocked up by Dave Cox over on UKVRR on LTspice , I breadboarded it. Am particularly chuffed with the method of dropping 120v which I devised, two resistors and a mosfet, this means lower voltage rated parts can be used. anyhoo, thread here - https://www.vintage-radio.net/forum/show...p?t=167901&page=2 for those interested.
Andy.
