It sounds like there is more background and sour grapes there than they are letting on, but it is time some of these companies that are fleecing the masses were brought to task and named and shamed. I know in the USA (and probably here these days) it would maybe mean legal action against someone provoking a company by naming them, but it's getting too much. This political correctness is really helping those out to make a fast buck.

On a similar vein, how many here hate the term 'up to' as seemingly used in 99% of adverts these days. I think it should be banned as meaningless woffle!

Your probably right Tracey, though like any small club power politics comes into play, still, fair play on the bloke for standing up. Those power cables are like Xray spex advertised in a lot of comics back in the 70's; the whole audio thing has become very contentious with very strong feelings on both sides. It says more about human's than it does about "Hi end" components.

Up to, we talking broadband here? My BB goes up to 0.35Mbps but my currrent ISP, SSE were very upfront about the service when I signed up, they said they wouldn't provide service as the connection was so dire. I said I know, but to go ahead anyway as it was a lot cheaper than Plusnet - £13 as opposed to £31.

I hate the terms consumer, community, service and Brexit. The latter especially drives me nuts. The BBC use it all the time as do they "so called Islamic state" Hells teeth and Satan's underpants.

Does the copper wire internet not make the audio sound better on U-tube videos?
I found it quite very relaxing when all that hot air got released from the palace of Westminster after the referendum.
It has also cheered the weather up too. It has also kept all those noisy lawn mowers in there sheds too. I like it.
