Not sure if this is the right place to post this.................
Is anyone restoring a 3000 or 3500? I am clearing a lot of old parts and some sets so if there is an inductor or module needed then let me know. I have kept a Radio Rentals sale version of the 3000 and a lot of parts to restore it, one day, some day etc.
In the meantime I can share some parts, hopefully I have at least two of everything but when I do have time to repair the Baird I want to keep enough spares to be able to maintain it.
Amongst todays clearance was a "new" Marconiphone 3000 which, when new from the wholesalers, was used as a source of parts that being much cheaper than buying the modules and they were in stock when needed. Years later I did the same with the 9000 series. Right at the back of the garage is a brand new (in box) Mullard A49-120X, how about that for spares stock!
