I've been on holiday in Shropshire for the last week. One place we visited was this wonderfully crazy museum: http://www.lolc.co.uk/
One of the exhibits was Marconi 707 prewar TV. The owner said they got it from a junk shop in Falmouth for £70 in 1994. There's even a copy of the user manual.
