Hi,
Since moving to France just over a year ago my TV and radio collection additions have dropped off rather a lot - not such a bad thing given how many I already have!
No visits to the NVCF, Ebay purchases etc. Not much in the way of TVs on Ebay.FR or Lebonncoin either, but did manage to pick up a Schneider TV and a Radiola valve radio last year a couple of hundred Km north of here.
Whilst on a visit to my wife's relations in Poland we went to a massive flea market in Silesia (the place to pick up ex soviet armaments among other things!) and despite the amazingly high prices (Silesia is the equivalent to the West Midlands heavy industrial area, and is a relatively poor area of Poland) I did manage to pick up a communist era B&W TV (pictured).
Just recently rescued a Philips 14" colour set (looks like the CTXS series but with scart socket and presumably Secam rather than PAL. Not really my thing as it is a bit modern for my liking but couldn't see it going to the Decheterie (recycling centre).
The Shneider is obviously of 891 line system.

But what of the Polish TV? It has a VHF tuner but what is the line standard?
I guess it is 625 line, anyone know?
