Early Attenborough in colour

Some of David Attenborough's early work from the 1950s and 60s was actually shot in colour on 16mm film. At the time he beleived he was working in B&W and of course a colour TV service in the UK was some years in the future.

This article doesn't mention that Attenborough oversaw the introduction of the colour service as controller of BBC2 in 1967.
