Ferguson radiogram model 380RG

Been asked to look at this , anyone got service sheet or can id chassis ? or similar radio model  it was based on.
valve line up ECL82 EBF80 ECH81 solid state rectifier main smother, marked April 58,
fitted with UA8 turntable (good Knobs but hard mat).

Looking at the spare holes in that chassis it looks as if it would also support a version with push-pull output and separate phase splitter or possibly a single ended stereo version.

Looks to be space at the other end for a VHF tuner head to be mounted as well!

Or maybe not - I cant see any provision for the 10.7MHz IF transformers!

Looking closely, though, the chassis seems to originally have been punched for IFTs with much larger footprint. The miniature type fitted are obviously standing on adaptor plates which fit into the original holes ...

its possible now Thorn were in charge they where just using up parts as these valves are not used in any other Ferguson sets

There are only 2 UK made sets that match that exact valve line up on the radiomuseum site and neither of them are Fergusons. They are the Pye 1204 and the Ferranti ARG1099 and they are both mid 1960s sets.

it looks untouched the dust is thick with an equal coating over all the set
