The 405 line television service was opened on the 2nd November 1936. It was the first high definition television service to transmit regular programmes that were listed in advance in the Radio Times. To mark this occasion the BRWTVM at Dulwich will be holding a TV extraviganza day on September the 10th to celebrate the 80th anniversary of television.
The day will be an interesting one with attractions to keep us all interested and involved.
