It was a bit vague but I think we were talking of hundreds of pounds. Possibly 500 to 1000. ISTR they said it would be pyrex, not soft glass and that was for reasons I didn't really understand.

Is that just the glassware Jeffrey? That seems way over the top to me!

TBH, I can't really remember. It might have only been £300. However since they can't do anything about the gun, phosphor or other processing I don't think it will be relevant.

I heard from Werner, our contact with the regunning shop and they will be starting the CRTs in early February. They have a 3/6A and a CRM171, a pre-war type and a post-war one.
Let's wait on tenderhooks!!!

Minor point Brian its tenterhooks. A tenter (I just looked it up) was / is a frame for drying cloth and it had hooks on it ! Smile

I forgot to mention that I saw Werner again at the NVCF and enquired about the CRT rebuild project. I only had a few moments to talk but it seems there are family problems within the company which are causing delays. I wonder if they will ever be resolved.

Brian, can you add anything tothat?
