SaT Dish Earthing

Do All satellite dishes in the UK need to be earthed? Is there an EU directive on this?

Mines not, but by it's structure, floor mounted post with adjustable threaded rods buried in to the ground, it's as earthed as it can be.

I was thinking more of roof/wall mounts. Even if the pole is grounded by it's mounting in the ground there will probably be a significant PD across the IF cable in the case of a direct hit.

My wall mounted dish put up by Sky about 4 years ago isn't earthed, and I haven't seen any dishes that are, but that of course doesn't mean that they have been installed correctly with regards to any regulations.

I have never seen an earthed dish .that does not mean there are not any .but the dish is only a reflector so I cant see why an earth would be needed.
I only have experience putting up sky dishes .
