Back in the late 60sI found this clock without any case but with the works intact.
I stripped it and cleaned all the bits, lubed it and put it in a bag. Some years later in the 80s I found an old mirror frame, and using the wood I bodged together a case. It worked Ok until I noticed the dreaded worm in the case, whereupon I removed the works and they went back in a bag and the rest was chucked out. It's been in the bag now for 10 years or so and I have started looking around for a case at flea markets etc. What I would like to know is ;- who made it and roughly when.
Under the face on the front plate it says "modele depose" hence the French, meaning registered design etc. It bears two numbers 321 on the upper left and 72 at the bottom. There are only a couple of screws, everything is held together with tapered pins.
I would appreciate any info as I haven't found much at all on the net.
