Roberts spares (Telescopic aerials, handles and badges etc)

Occasionally there are requests for sources of spares such as telescopic aerials, and I see that Roberts sell them for a wide range of their models - some of which have been obsolete for years. Not badly priced, (£6.50ish). No doubt at the time they were current, Roberts will have bought them in rather than made them in-house, so they may in fact be similar to - if not identical to, other makes such as Hacker. I know little about either brands as I'm a fan of neither, but I know they have quite a following, so if anyone is stuck, it might be worth checking Roberts spares out:

(The strap handles and the badges might well fit other models such as the R200 etc , but I wouldn't know about that, and am never going to need to know).

Thanks David - I have already bought one or two things from them. I even phoned them on my quest for a 100k log pot with tap. Apparently they had stocked them until that stock ran out.

As for badges, I am considering using my son's 3D printer in an attempt to make some. Not sure how good a finish I will get on them though.

I found the chaps there very helpful.

I recently restored 2 Roberts R707 radios, both able to take an external power supply. Modern power jacks seem a bit too big in diameter on the plastic shroud and too short in the metal barrel. This morning I took delivery of the perfect jack, sourced from Toby Electronics at 45p + VAT + shipping - two jacks totalled £4.62 inc shipping and VAT. They fit snugly, open the battery contacts correctly, and fit within the metal ring in the cabinet side with room to spare.
