I know we have a couple of people interested in 1960's guitar amps.. I dug it out and after a cursory check over plugged it up and stuck some mains into it.. Still working a treat.. the usual hiss and hum I remember.

The cabinets need a good dose of black boot polish (my preferred thing for music boxes) to cure the under the stairs dust and general grubbyness, and they will both be well worth the list price these things fetch these days.. (last laney mk2 sold on ebay for £225 not long ago.. non worker)

The speaker is an ex pa box with a pair of 1966 Celestion G12-20H speakers... closed back.. sounds fantastic.. and the guitar is my main gig beast.. it looks rough but I love it.

Nice one!
I would think that the vintage Pre Rolas will be worth a lot. I met up with a colleague yesterday who has a Traynor Mark 3 twin (he indicated that he's had it from new) that needs some TLC some I might need to get some help with it in the too distant future.

a proper jennings gold plexi ac30 with the blue back speakers.. about £1200

people happily pay £400 just to get them repaired and serviced.

I sold a 1974 marshall bass 100 for £170 in 1990 to pay for a wedding.. I'm gutted.. but these things have gone through the roof in the last 10 years.. My laney was a free non worker in 1987...

I had a Hofner Violin bass guitar No 1338, a Vox AC30 and a Rickenbacker 4001 all 1960's what I sold them for 1992 makes me weep today.

Oh and a vile green Mesa boogie but boy did that give great sound

sold my 4001 (prototype for the stereo wiring) s/n pt03 for £680 in 1993.. really gutted but I was desperate for cash at the time and it was one of my few saleable assets during a divorce. Somehwre along the road I lost a WEM double twelve speaker.. sn000343 .. or maybe my daughter still has it somewhere though I doubt it.
