DAC90A brighter dial lights - use of LEDs?

Thanks Joe - I hadn't spotted the earlier posting of yours.

As you say, no mods to the set, so if it ever gets passed on, the LED 'bulbs' can be replaced with normal MES ones, if the new owner is so inclined.

At the time you posted the idea I loved your solution too Joe, it's so neat and totally reversible, which is why I did not understand why some thought otherwise. It should be snipped out and made a sticky in a cool tips thread. Perhaps you may like to do that.

I know I'm a so-and-so at modifying things but do draw the line at doing permanent 'Damage,' unless it's a set that's really a write-off anyway. Just wait 'til I get a DAC90a in a thoroughly smashed-up case!
