Excellent info Paula - although Toko aren't available any more, (though some small firns such as Jabdog still have a few types in stock), the data on connections and coil inductances is very useful to enable substitute coils to be wound in projects where Toko coils are called for. I've got a lot of unidentified surplus coils and for one or two projects have used TOKO data to strip and rewind the coils to my own needs. A guy called Tony Nailor makes a limited range of TOKO substitutes, for kits that he sells in PW mag, in which they sometimes feature. (I forget the name of his firm - I haven't taken PW for years due to it's lack of home-brew projects and 100% focus on ham radio, but I usually have a quick flip through the pages at the local free magazine library (AKA W. H. Smiths). David

These are things of which I know nothing but Chris Tredwell has still got a lot listed.
