This is my latest
I can't do anything with it yet as I've got four-legged visitors. If I try I'll keep getting butted by heads which require patting and HT lines and cold wet noses don't mix.
I have been able to establish that it's all there. One of the knobs is wrong and the tone one is missing altogether. This is 'round the back so isn't a problem. As there are three at the front I'll put the odd one in the middle so it should look OK.
The tuning cord has snapped so that should be 'fun' to replace.
There are some signs of the fiddler. The mains lead has been replaced but it must have been a while ago as the 'DuraPlug' connector is marked "Empire Made." A bit of wire has been soldered straight across the speaker to a 5A 2-pin socket which will come in handy for the next DAC90/a, and there WILL be a next DAC90/a.
It came with its original receipt &c and it was sold for 13 gns in September 1941.
Further reports as circumstances allow.
