Replacing the flyback damping capacitor C45 has improved the picture width and the linearity control has a much great effect on the left side of the picture. However, line linearity is still not as good as the vision only receiver TA201. Still more work to be done before the restoration of the TS701 is completed.
The Mazda CRM71 CRTs in both sets are displaying very bright pictures.

The CRT mask is 5 : 4 aspect ratio.
