Sony Tape Recorder TC-110A

I have the tape recorder Sony TC-110A and is working fine from 70's (my father bought it)
The only problem is that the included condensed microphone doesn't work and yesterday the movement rubber band (the drive rubber) may have been cut. (only a noise is heard from the motor)
How difficult is to repair the microphone and to find a rubber band for this model?
I am living in Greece.

Welcome to the forum.
You are lucky with the drive belts. They often turn into black slime that is very difficult to clean up.
Belt kits are available.
With microphones there are a number of different kinds that fail in different ways. You will need to open it up and take a photo of the internal parts so that we can identify the kind of element it has.

There is German company I've got belts for Awia Cassette Deck, Dual 55 and Telefunken portable reel to real. I'll look out for contact details if you can't find anything.
You can glue a cut belt with superglue, but likely it snapped.

Electret inserts are about €1 or less and spec /size not critical, but it is most likely a dynamic (moving coil) of about 200 Ohms if early 1970s, in which case replacement for capsule is harder, though any electret with built in battery or cheap dynamic will work. Crystal or ceramic is unlikely.

Edit: the Radiomuseum example is an electret. Any capsule should work. It won't be a real "condenser" microphone as those are professional and internal higher voltages rather than 1.5V to 6V via a resistor on an electret.

Thank you ... I will give a try to open it ... I am afraid because my hands are not my best (I can destroy easily with my hands )and I take some photos. I don't know if I can upload them here ...
For sure I give the device to a professional technician but is little rare that you can find technicians who want to deal with these old devices and to try to repair them ...

It should be possible to find a cheap condenser mic on Ebay or whatever you have in Greece. Microphones that were supplied with tape recorders like yours were often of low quality but sufficient for home recording. Just try and find a similar cheap mic, this is easy if the dead mic has a 1/4 inch plug, if not you can always solder the old plug onto the new mic.

Replacing belts on cassette decks can be a nightmare, lot's of screws to take out, lots of parts. Make sure you take lots of pictures as you go, or even better film yourself dismantling. You can also use sticky tape or a piece of card with holes in to secure the screws in the order you take them out, to make sure the right screw goes in the right hole.
