Tracy, it's even better than that. Much of the rest of the former RAF Hemswell is now the biggest antiques centre in Europe. Almost next door is the RAF Ingham Heritage Centre: https://www.rafingham.co.uk/
Scampton has a heritage centre though you need to book well in advance due to security on a working RAF station.
East Kirkby is further away: https://www.lincsaviation.co.uk/
Even youngsters in Hemswell Cliff (the village that was former RAF Hemswell) seem to be aware of their heritage. For example that quite a lot of the Dambusters was filmed there. In theory it should have been done at Scampton but Hemswell looked similar and was much less busy with genuine RAF duties.
