As far as I can see, there is no provision for using one of the inputs to act as a sampling clock for the others. This would be useful in many digital video audio and video applications where you know the sample rate, have a suitable clock available and aren't looking for glitches.

I agree that it's probably async only, but considering the firepower in there, I wouldn't be surprised is a V2 had synchronous capability. Probably about a year away I'd guess.

Adding synchronous sampling would only be a firmware update. The hardware is fully capable of doing it.

That's a serious DMM, with Class IV safety rating to 600V. About £500 at a guess.
