Offered an ancient militatary specialist transceiver on marketplace.recently. Within an hour had reply want to buy it, will pay paypal now to put on hold. Am I the original purchaser?!!!
I asked the lady a stupid question (we will all understand, as item being an incomplete vintage non working transceiver) "Do you have a licence to use thisequipment "? YES was the reply.
I said, cash on collection only and never heard any more.
Seems the scam is they pay me fully with paypal, then immediately after collection ( if it ever happens) block me as a contact on fb then raise an item not received with paypal. As paypal cannot view exact details any more, they give her a full refund, so it seems. I lose my item and they keep money.
I blocked her now on fb.
