Started this week on the Graetz beast.

Today I have substituted a 4x 1N4007 bridge rectifier  for the AEG selenium  tube with a 250 ohm resistor to drop 21 volts off the HT.
All is working well.
The eye is not in circuit on AM as far as I can work out from the circuit diagram, as I have found frequently.

I am happy with the chassis now so its time to do the hard part, cabinet tidying.

"The eye is not in circuit on AM", when I first read that I thought it was a bad idea, thinking a bit it seems sensible you (well I do anyway) tune AM by sound FM is a bit more difficult.
