In June this year Ruth and I will be travelling north for a holiday. From June 15th for a week we'll be staying near Alnwick. From a vintage tech point of view the important place is Cragside, the first house in the kingdom to be lit by electricity. Then we'll be going to Edinburgh for a weekend to help celbrate a friend's 70th birthday.

On the way back down we'll stay in Newcastle for a few nights. We want to see some of the Great Exhibition of the North which will have just started: https://getnorth2018.com/ Also hope to vist our Geordie friend
