This looks like a piece of in-house test gear made by Pye.
It's a C&R bridge with ranges from 20uF down 0.002uF, 2M to 10ohms and has a capacitor leakage function. Valves are an IW4/350 and an unknown side contact 'magic eye'. As you can see in the fourth photo it appears to have five 6.3v bulbs which must light up depending on range selection....Smart!
It arrived tonight so I've had my mitts on it for about 15 minutes and have done no testing. There's a few wires with crumbling insulation and the big grey capacitors are leaking oil.
Any comments and especially thoughts on where to begin most welcome.
