Hi all
A friend who is into custom cars alerted me to an ad on another forum for a 1955 Standard 10 which was supplied new to the BBC Film Unit and comes with some history to back this up. Sadly the original number 'MMR 8' has been stripped by a 'cherished' number dealer (don't get me started
)
The car is currently sporting hideous wide wheels and is danger of falling into yet more unsympathetic hands. £550 for one of these, on the road, is pretty good these days, even with bodywork issues to sort. I know there are plenty of vintage radio and TV restorers who also love old cars, so does anyone want to save this from further harm?
