Aviation Instruments

I visited the local traction engine rally today and found somebody exhibiting old aircraft instruments, this radio flight guiding received looks interesting and probably quite early of its kind. The owner knew little about it apart from that it has two lamps to help guide the operator, some investigation is warranted. There is a tiny baseless valve in the RF compartment.  The other notable event was when the man showing me his home made meths camping cooker nearly set his stall alight.
