It might look authentic but it's not!
When a car is one it's all been welded up sections grafted in etc filled and painted, so it's not original either. When we do a TV we look at the cabinet and screen and marvel at how a nearly 90 year old TV is still working, but we don't go hauling the back off and pulling out the chassis and showing the general public the yellow caps.
Just like the1962 Mini owner doesn't dismantle the engine and show off the modern high compression pistons he fitted.
