If its only slight polish and you don't mind dulling, user regular white toothpaste. Helps take shine off stupidly shiny screens too. Then the headlight polish.
Pearl Drops "toothpaste" is more abrasive to take out fine scratches,
Ultra-fine wire wool for severe scratches and then work to finer and finer abrasive pastes.
