The first generation of EMI TV sets had no provision for picture shift adjustment. Later on, a "push about" coil (EMI's words) fitted on the CRT neck was made available to facilitate adjustment of picture position. Along with the coil, a potentiometer and bracket were supplied with the modification kit.
Also available for areas subject to severe traffic interference a white spot inverter unit was made available from EMI service. Unit employed an MH4 triode.
