That's a serious choke! But with no-maths, are you sure it's 30H 1.5A? It may well carry 1.5A, but without exhibiting 30H due to core saturation.
I'm looking at the design of a 2.2H choke at 2.5A, which is much less energy storage than yours, and it's going to be over 10kg.
