Yes, it does have an aerial input but Ive not used this since 2012 when the changes were made from analogue to digital signal in the Southend area.
We've had a recent extension built and had out lounged refurbished (its still not quite finished). I wanted to place the TV on the wall and tried to find a suitable VESA mount for the set and found that the mount size was tiny (200 x 200). Considering that was our thoughts to go for a larger replacement set in the future we decided not to bother and place a larger TV with suitable mount this time around. We have purchased an LG 48" OLED HD tv. The picture quality is very good BUT with regards to "blackness' the plasma set will always win hands down.
Trevor, you are correct with regards to weight and this was the big issue, the set is very heavy and trying to find a suitable wall mount for the plasma set and then on to the LED replacement was not as easy as it seems. Its amazing the plasma set is such a small VESA mount?
I do feel very sad to let the plasma set go as it works extremely well but I have nowhere else in the house to put it. It also appears that no one else wants it either!
