Nice sets, the LOPT is weak in these sets and needs to be dried out of moisture. The set has been damp seen by the crazed aquadag coating on the CRT, a dead giveaway to moisture. The CRT on these are often run flat out as the dark screen seriously restricts brightness.
Fairly reliable in service though but fixed many in the 70s.
Dry that LOPT out before powering the set up and replace mouldseal caps as they don't like damp conditions.
