The one I have is "only" an electricians 110 but was free!
It was left by a smart meter installation tech. at my great grandmother's house, the company was called and told but they said it wasn't worth the trouble getting it back.
I think that that model is about £150... If they had asked nicely we could have dropped it into a carriers agent and they could have had it returned for a couple of squid
their loss!
After I had finished with the experiment I did try my "measure the space charge current" method against powering the valve with a regulated dc supply... The answer it gave was 8.6Volts for equivalent space charge, measured across cathode/grid,
Could have done that from the start ...
