Basic circuit, simple AVC (strange, as it would have needed only a couple of extra components to have delayed). Pick-up inpt which just forces its way through the circuit - no switch position to switch 'in' and mute the radio.
Good sound quality.
Crummy sensitivity, especially on SW - it really does need an aerial. Aerial / oscillator tracking is not good.
But an easy chassis to work on, a good cabinet, and a good-sized loudspeaker.
I was amazed at the sensitivity just off the coils being horizontal, better than the frame aerial!
I may modify one of the others by remounting the coil former.
